Petrykivka painting is an authentic Ukrainian painting technique, which was recognized as a UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2013. The honey-based and lacquer-based gouache paint is traditionally used in Petrykivka painting to protect the item against moisture and aging.
