Angel decoration with moving wings, made of wood and hand painted

The angel is turned of natural wood by a skilled wood-turner and hand-painted by the craftsman, master of Petrykivka painting. Petrykivka painting is an authentic Ukrainian painting technique, which was recognized as a UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2013. The honey-based and lacquer-based gouache paint is traditionally used in Petrykivka painting to protect the item against moisture and aging.
